Yes, if the deficiencies and discrepancies in the investment plan are corrected and resolved and the proposed plan complies with the criteria for establishment in the Kashan Special Economic Zone in terms of land use, environmental requirements, and energy consumption, the investor can resubmit his application.
3- How can I find out about the status of the investment plan review?
Investors can check the latest status of the plan review by visiting the Investment > Investment Request > Completed Forms section on the region’s website. It is also possible to inquire about the status of the plan review by calling the region’s investment advisor or sending a message on the “ITA” messenger.
4- After the investment plan is accepted, when will it be possible to settle in the region?
After accepting the investment plan and concluding a contract with the Kashan Special Economic Zone, the investor can begin the implementation and construction of the infrastructure required to establish the production line and equipment. The time required to establish the industrial unit in the zone is considered to be 3 to 6 months, after which the unit will be ready for operation.
5- What is the area of industrial plots that can be transferred in the Kashan Special Economic Zone?
The allocation of land to investors will be determined after evaluating the feasibility study submitted by the investment applicant and will be announced to the investor.
6- Is the import of production line machinery and equipment from abroad into the region subject to customs duties?
No, machinery and production line equipment that enter and are located in the zone are not subject to customs duties and will benefit from this exemption as long as they remain within the special zone.
7- What are the conditions for renting and transferring land in the Kashan Special Economic Zone for investors?
The land required by the industrial units will be leased to the investor during the construction and establishment of the production line. After the full implementation of the plan and the issuance of the exploitation license, a new contract for the exploitation period will be concluded between the special economic zone and the investor, and the rental amount will be determined by experts and after approval by the relevant committee. At the end of the exploitation period, upon the investor’s request, the land ownership will be transferred. Otherwise, the lease contract can be extended by agreement.
